i33 is seeking an Associate Media Director to play a leading role in delivering i33’s full range of interactive media and ROI marketing services to our clients. This individual will develop direct response media; supervise media planners and coordinators; manage multiple client accounts; build media strategies; evaluate, negotiate and purchase online media; develop campaign analyses, optimization processes, and recommend strategic and tactical changes to maximize campaign performance. The Associate Media Director will also work with the account services, creative, data analysis, trafficking and finance departments as part of the media process.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and document media strategies
- Develop and implement online media plans
- Analyze and optimize existing media using i33’s proprietary AdMaximizeSM ROI reporting
- Create ongoing analysis documents and post-buy reports
- Provide media leadership on multiple Fortune 500 and smaller accounts
- Supervise media planners and coordinators
- Leverage media research to develop strategies
- Sell new project ideas to clients and help to grow new business with prospects
- Report directly to i33 Media Director
Required Skills and Background:
- Must have 5–7 years experience planning/buying at advertising agency and at least 2–3 years of interactive/direct experience in a supervisory role
- Must have extensive experience running ROI-focused campaigns (Cost Per Lead/Cost Per Acquisition) with ROI reporting
- Experience with paid search marketing a major plus
- Must have strong managerial, leadership & mentoring skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple short- and long-term plans simultaneously in a fast-paced, agency environment
- Rigorous analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with campaign tracking and optimization tools
- Must be a strong negotiator
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word & Excel a must
- Must also have an understanding of research tools such as @plan, Media Metrix and Nielsen/NetRatings
- Experience in new business development a plus
Required Education:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree.
