i33 is seeking a Senior Microsoft.NET Developer with strong design/architecture skills to add to our growing technology team in New York, NY. Be one of the lead developers in an emerging practice; build best practices/process methodology; manage a development team; This person will participate in all aspects of the project life cycle, which includes design, programming, testing, implementation, maintenance and documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and develop web user interfaces which interface with back-end databases and other tools
- Design, implement and support applications and tools used for content management, electronic commerce, web publishing etc.
- Provide technical recommendations and documentation as well as evaluating new technologies
- Create documentation for processes and implementations
- Provide test plans and test suites for applications
Required Skills and Background:
- 5-7 years of software development experience
- 3-4 years experience with server side .NET and other object-oriented development techniques
- Experience in web applications development, and knowledge of software development standards and methodologies
- Ability to take leadership role in proposing, researching and implementing creative technology solutions
- Experience creating web applications using .NET and Microsoft SQL Server technologies required. Technologies Included but not limited to C#, ASP.NET, .NET Web Services, ADO.NET, ASP.NET master pages and .NET shared assemblies development and deployment.
- Experience with the following technologies a plus: VB.NET, Delphi, Microsoft.NET, JAVA, C++, COM, DCOM, Web Services/SOAP, XML, SQL Server (TSQL stored procedures), SharePoint
- Experience building and working with search technologies/applications a plus
- Windows Visual Basic 6 experience a plus
- Understanding of and ability to design and utilize relational databases and SQL
- Experience working with Windows and Unix environments
- Object-oriented design and analysis skill including understanding of software design patterns (GoF) and UML a must
- DBA skills and experience a plus
- Expert knowledge in testing methodologies; Design testable software from the beginning; Design effective and reliable test cases;
- General understanding of user interfaces and how they effect applications design
- Experience with enterprise-level design patterns (Patterns of EAA, Microsoft Patterns & Practices)
- Familiarity with continuous integration process including tools such as NAnt, NUnit, FxCop, CruiseControl.NET
- Expertise in the authoring of technical requirements and the requirements definition process
- Must be an effective communicator (written and oral), highly motivated and detail-oriented
- Work independently with minimum supervision and be a valuable contributor in an interactive team environment
Required Education:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree.
